is default contempt (I believe 24) really best (not harmful against strong engines)? running a match against the lc0 test30 & it's extremely close so far; book is very shallow (using the deepmind set) if that's a factor.

asking the question because in the current game SF10 started from the caro-kann with white; played 2. Nf3 d5 3. e5!? & am wondering if a lower or zero setting would take a more conservative approach.

games are here for the curious - - https://lichess.org/study/Xr8O2QmY lc0 rolling nets on a gtx 1080; SF10 given 3 cores + 2GB hash (about 6.2MN/s)
