Five rooks on the board! Very nice game, nice to see a bookless French that isn't the Exchange variation.

Are the stage 3 games available somewhere?
There seems to be no "archive" on the chess.com/ccc page, and chess.com main page has no mention of the tournament at all, that I could find.

Re: Stockfish wins CCC 3: Stage 1 only after last 60th game
This competition was arranged for the pleasure of Leela Chess Zero.
The short time control, setting off the opening book (as Google team did it) the rules of game endings give
advantage for LC0 over the AB engines. It is characteristic Leela was not able to restrict the Three Great in this beneficial circumstances either.
Every NN-type chess engine know positions what are in NN only.
So if the developers of Leela want to make a really strong (stronger the Stockfish) chess engine they have to grow up the size of NN and running self play game using bug free soft wares.
Until the chess knowledge of this new, bigger(!) NN will not surpass the net of 11248 in real(!) Elo, we should not hope better results from Leela.

I have never been able to download any games from your site except 1 file called CCC_Bonus_WCC_Game12_drawn.pgn
I get errors or nothing on all the other links, generally with this message:
Unable to connect
Pale Moon can't establish a connection to the server at cccfiles.chess.com.
The site could be temporarily unavailable or too busy. Try again in a few moments.
If you are unable to load any pages, check your computer’s network connection.
If your computer or network is protected by a firewall or proxy, make sure that Pale Moon is permitted to access the Web.
Taking ideas is not a vice, it is a virtue. We have another word for this. It is called learning.
But sharing ideas is an even greater virtue. We have another word for this. It is called teaching.

We are migrating to newer infrastructure. The archive page will be updated once stage2 starts to get all links to point to the new pgn location

I am probably missing something ... but is there really an advantage to promoting with a rook rather than a queen? I can see how it would be an advantage if stalemate was an issue but it doesn't seem to be in this case?
