File comparison shows they are the same as before.

But they are different. The download I made when I read Norbert's original post on June 29 is different than the download I made yesterday.

Original file sizes and dates
HonzovySachy.exe 1500672 5/30/2019
HonzovySachy x64.exe 2483200 5/30/2019

New file sizes and dates
HonzovySachy.exe 1559040 7/1/2019
HonzovySachy x64.exe 2670080 7/1/2019

The GUI version is still the same.

Hmm. I have downloaded the new file 3 times. Twice it was the same (not only the zip but the exes as well), the 3rd was as you write here. Some browser cache thing I guess.

Just a short reminder that since appveyor is set up for Demolito you'll get a new beta automatically each time a new commit is available.
Last release is Demolito 2019-07-07 from today.

Just cklick on the appveyor build number and go to 'artifacts' and download your build flavour

Igel 1.8.0 at https://github.com/vshcherbyna/igel/releases/tag/1.8.0 (binaries for RasberryPi, Linux and Windows)

What's new:

- Re-write UCI communication functionality
- Implement ponder (aka 'permanent brain') mode (experimental)
- RasberryPi build (experimental)
- Do not store result from interrupted search in tt hash
- Do not return result from interrupted search as 'best move'
- Fix the pv count when returning draw or moves from tt hash
- Move to Visual Studio 2019 cmake syntax

Relative strength compared to 1.7.0:

- around 65 elo on single thread with ponder on (CCRL 40/4 time control)
- around 166 elo on 4 threads + ponder on against 1.7.0 running on single thread (CCRL 40/4 time control)
- around 20-30 elo on single thread with ponder off against 1.7.0 (CCRL 40/4 time control)

I hope it works ;) I don't have a rasberryPi to try it out, but please let me know if something does not work and I will fix it.

I've done some testing on a Raspberry Pi emulator and I found a bug in a provided Igel build for Raspberry Pi. I've fixed it and re-uploaded the package at https://github.com/vshcherbyna/igel/releases/tag/1.8.0
