CT800 V1.34

Post by Ras »

V1.34 is a small update mainly for the embedded STM32 platform, fixing the erroneous shutdown with more that 5.4 V input voltage, and adding live search info via the info key. Similar to the analysis mode, but during normal games.

Besides, Vitali Derr has released a project for affordable CT800 embedded hardware with open source PCB and CAD data for the housing. Full retro "briquette" feeling!

The UCI version has a little re-scaling of the evaluation when running into the 50 moves rule, but that doesn't have relevant impact on the playing strength.

I suggest to either leave that version out for CCRL testing, or combine V1.33 and V1.34 results.

I appreciate that some authors take the trouble to take rating lists into consideration when releasing new versions.
Thank you for going that extra mile, Rasmus.
