This study was believed to be draw but it's likely winning for black.

This position is a win for Black, but it doesn't have anything to do with the ones of your following postings, does it, Jon?

Who's the author and what's his solution?
Didn't find it at YACPD.

What did the SSD's cost total?
Full set with all 4,5,6 and the most used 7 men on 1TB SSD, the rest are on slow HH Altogether I have 4TB of SSD on 3 drives, but I only use 1 TB SSD for syzygy. I also house three 8TB HHDs drive which house the remaining syzygy. The MacPro 2010 can accommodate the six drives (HHD or SSD) ( 4 drive bays, plus two CD drive bays which can also accommodate HHD and /or SSD. 1 TB SSD drives cost about $135 - 2 TB SSD drives cost about $250 . 8TB HHD drives are about $200 ea.

SF's eval counts the 50 moves, therefore it's so low. Only because this rule doesn't matter as for studies you can call it cooked, (btw. is this really the original starting position?) otherwise it would be drawn by this rule at move 67. So SF's eval should be 0.00, not a winning one for Black.

If 50-move rule is unchecked for syzygy. Stockfish may not enforce 50-move rule.
