Is anyone actively working on a hybrid NN + AB SF? I mean it really seems like a no brainer if someone can make it happen. In TCEC it is very obvious that Lc0 outplays SF in almost every game and just plays much better chess. But SF is an incredibly mature and strong tactical engine that it has been able to put up very good resistance is quickly able to take advantage of Lc0 week tactical abilities and some poor endgame play. If SF would have the positional strength of a NN engine and combine that with its already formidable tactical ability and stable endgame play ... it would be a chess engine that would take chess to a level that is probably 20 years ahead of its time.
