"Antialgorithmic shelter or, the synthesis. Bye Bye everybody.

Post by Father »

April 11, 2019

Dear brothers and sisters who love chess.

I feel in the depths of my soul that we have had many long battles against artificial intelligence in representation of a single war that does not end in the fight between man and machine.

I want to dedicate and offer all of you a gift, which for my understanding and my human understanding, is an extraordinary game of chess played against the Stockfish machine just now.

The time control of the game was sixteen minutes for the human and sixteen minutes for the computer.

The battle was for the man against the brand-new world champion chess engine.

The hardware has had a velocity greater than eighteen million plies (18,000 KN / s) per second.

The result was a beautiful triumph in favor of the human being.

With this game of chess that I won at the invincible and insoldable chess computer, I claim for our human condition, as well as the strength of our soul, our intelligence and our imagination, that the quality of being a person gives us.

We should never lose hope.
We should never give up.

I have decided to name this chess game, something like baptize this example of a chess game: "Antialgorithmic shelter or, the synthesis."

I dedicate all the energy that lives in this game with all the love that exists within the deepest of my heart, to GOD and to the soul of my Father and my Mother already deceased. You Father and Mother were co-creators of my existence. Thanks with all my heart. Allow me to return to this fleeting mortal world from which I will soon have started this battle.

I hope with all my soul, that from there where you are, get this message of love from the planet earth to your place. Thanks again forever.

Sincerely,

Pablo Ignacio Restrepo

Thanks for all.
I am thinking chess is in a coin.Human beings for ever playing in one face. Now I am playing in the other face:"Antichess". Computers are as a fortres where owner forgot to close a little door behind. You must enter across this door.Forget the front.

I see the event horizon of a black hole.
Don't get sucked in. It will ruin your whole day.
Taking ideas is not a vice, it is a virtue. We have another word for this. It is called learning.
But sharing ideas is an even greater virtue. We have another word for this. It is called teaching.

I am thinking chess is in a coin.Human beings for ever playing in one face. Now I am playing in the other face:"Antichess". Computers are as a fortres where owner forgot to close a little door behind. You must enter across this door.Forget the front.

Dreams and trips...

Post by Father »

Karger,

What would the life be without our dreams? ...what would be for the mountaineers without the peaks of the snowy mountains? What would be of our world without a universe to explore? What would be the chess lovers without the chess computers? What would be for the chess if humans give up before facing the computer for fear of losing ?; Who will be all of us who spend a lifetime dreaming and waiting in vain with a great teacher to invite us to play and devote even a single day to play against him or her?
What would humanity be like if Mount Everest ceased to exist and the moon shines, and one place or another is the goal to be achieved? What would be of the human being without the hope of reaching a heaven or love ?; What would it be like if crazy ideals and impossible projects did not exist as the first step to reach the unattainable? It began 1980, and with my chess friends we said: "I dream that day when a chess computer has an instant response to our moves, and has the strength to beat the world chess champion". Well, 39 years have passed, and that day came and the dream became a reality.
I wish you happy Easter and may God always accompany you and bless you, and may hope, love and health never fail.
Best regards,
Pablo Ignacio Restrepo
