My understanding is that Bluefish is Stockfish , just running on a big 172 core box, hence the name bluefish (Deep Blue).

The name bluefish comes from its usual blue color in the evaluation graph. Right now this is misleading as it is playing herself and has white/black graph.
Xotofish is a variant of one of the SF developers to show better/smoother/more realistic evals.

Bluefish is better than
stockfish. So is trout. And salmon, and even flounder.

Quote " You can enjoy the games with live commentary by BlueFish (Stockfish running on 172 cores, represented by a blue line on the graph), Redmodo (Komodo on 128 cores, represented by a red line on the graph) and chat with engine authors, computer chess experts, and friends in the ever lively TCEC chat. "
How did the 172 cores and 128 cores do? Where they impressive?
