stockfish had a forced draw.

It may be interesting if the fact that stockfish lost is result of a bug in handling the 50 move rule or some different problem because there is no logical reason to have 0.00 score for a losing position when the material is not equal.

Here is the last time that stockfish had a simple draw by perpetual check or winning the knight

[d]Q5K1/8/1kp1N3/7q/1P6/8/8/8 b - - 60 154

I believe that Qg4+ force a perpetual check or capturing the knight with a draw.

all the engines that I tried without tablebases chose Qg4+ with a draw evaluation so it is strange that stockfish chose Qg6+ when after Ng7 there is no check.

After Qg6+ Ng7 I believe that no forced draw can be seen.

[d]Q5K1/6N1/1kp3q1/8/1P6/8/8/8 b - - 62 155

tablebases say Kb5 or Qg5 is a draw even without the 50 move rule and maybe with the 6 piece tablebases you can prove that 155...Kb5 is a draw.

Not sure about it.

In any way after the game move 155...Qg4 the last chance was here when both Qd4 and Qh4 are draw by the 50 move rule and I wonder how much time engines need to see a draw score(note that the fifty move rule is inside the fen so the position is a draw)

[d]5K2/1k4N1/2p5/Q7/1P4q1/8/8/8 b - - 66 157

My guess is that stockfish was confused by the 50 move rule and maybe it thought that the losing line is a draw because of memorizing a draw score in the tranposition table.

Does anyone have the game in a pgn file - this should never happen, some GUIs do not apply the 50 move rule correctly.
