On the other hand, $20K for RAM might be worth it if it was enough to help build the 7 man Syzygy DTM tables.
And I can get a 7702p box here :

with 896GB RAM (albeit 2666MHz) for $17K, so $25K gets the full blown server, properly configured. (Limited to 3 GPUs, though)
I guess the best solution will be the TRX80 and WRX80 boards. I bet they will hold more than 256GB RAM.
Every solution I find seems to lack something I want, so I am forced into waiting, and MAN, I hate waiting.
