I am thinking chess is in a coin.Human beings for ever playing in one face. Now I am playing in the other face:"Antichess". Computers are as a fortres where owner forgot to close a little door behind. You must enter across this door.Forget the front.

I am thinking chess is in a coin.Human beings for ever playing in one face. Now I am playing in the other face:"Antichess". Computers are as a fortres where owner forgot to close a little door behind. You must enter across this door.Forget the front.

I still don't see increment and I'm still not impressed.

I was at first, I looked at him in awe and wished one day I could lock up positions like that, because if I could, I would become unbeatable.

And then I found out it was just lag and GUI bugs, something that increment can compensate for, and the magic was gone.

But the magic could be back! He just needs to repeat his feats with increment. Or maybe he can't...

I see bad engine moves. Would a little bit of more time really change them?

Yes. Father wouldn't be able to win his games if there was increment, because he's abusing GUI bugs and lag to do what he does, if increment was set to compensate for GUI bugs and lag, he wouldn't be able to do it.

And if he was able to do it that'd be amazing and truly remarkable, because who else is able to go into some 3 +1 time control against an engine on Playchess and get a draw?

I've been saying this for a while now, so I suspect Father tried and failed, so he went back to zero increment games, the only thing where he can abuse engines.

The second game is with no increment(5+0) but Father got a draw not because of GUI bugs.
The depths in the last moves are above 20 plies and the last pawn computer move 169.b5 is 31 plies and I believe that it is impossible to win at that point of the game.

You can see the engine having to move instantly or within a second to keep up with the clock. Without lag every engine move could have been played with 1 second more. Father wouldn't have been able to draw that game if it was in person (not over the internet) or with increment. And if he could, why doesn't he just go and play an increment game and prove it?

(still looks to me that it's a game drawing lag)

Still, if Carlsen was in his place, he would lose all his games
