Now comes the real thing, the last edition of Rodent chess engine:

Enjoy!
Hi
Thanks for this engine which is really fun and interesting to play against, I have only played against the Tal variation so far but it always puts a smile on my face irrespective of whether I win or lose, it's an excellent tactical workout and sometimes it almost feels like I'm looking at tactical puzzles rather than playing a chess game.

Quick question if I may, the Tal personality, does that play in a similar manner to the Open Tal version that you realised based open settings from Brendan Norman?

Thank you.

Tal personality is similar, but not the same. It uses identical parameters, but some internal weights have been changed.

Stupid question, but how can I configure the ELO?
I guess, I set it in the basic.ini. But how? And what do the other options mean?

PERSONALITY_BOOKS
UCI_ELO
HIDE_PERSFILE

Hmm, there was once a Capivara, but it may now be dormant, if not dead.

For now, Capivara is dormand, with no plans for new versions.
Soon I will post more explanations.
Or do you think I'd retreat through the back door?

Thanks for the update, dormant is still better than dead or dying any day! :)
