Nice position. Thanks.
I checked with my SF12 dev version 32bit on my very old dual core bought 2008,
it found the best move 34.Rxd7 in less than 40 seconds.

I was expecting to see this position in Hard-TalkChess. A lot harder than lots of positions in this set.
Taken from:
I told my wife that a husband is like a fine wine; he gets better with age. The next day, she locked me in the cellar.

According to CSS forum SugaR AI ICCF 1.0 mit Night Nurse 0.3 now beats Bluefish tactical clearly!
Thanks for the information !
I will test this NN.
I tested the Night Nurse 0.3 network.
Not superior in my test set : same number of positions found (166) and about same time average to found the solutions (111 sec to 113 sec).
But the solutions found are different.
Here are the biggest differences :
1) Found fast (time in seconds) by Night Nurse 0.3 but not found by nn-62ef826d1a6d in 30 minutes.
Code: Select all
25) e4-e5 17
65) .. Ba6-c8 13
12) Rg1xg7 3
77) Nc4-a5 0
81) Rg2xg7 0
194) .. e4-e3 0
2) Found fast (time in seconds) by nn-62ef826d1a6d but not found by Night Nurse 0.3 in 30 minutes.
Code: Select all
133) Bh5-f3 95
24) Rc1xc3 55
20) a4-a5 46
73) .. e6-e5 2
138) Qh4-d4 0
187) Ba4xc6 0

The double rook sacrifice of Lc0 to checkmate SF12 was missed.
Maybe that is pretty tough for NNUE engines too.

That's the shortest defeat of SF12 in a long time control I think.

I added the test of Bluefish there.
Code: Select all
3 runs on my old i7-6*4 GHz with Bluefish-12-W : 1m40s, 35s and 1m55 (average 1m23s)
