Is it just Black-Diamond ? Does Honey work? Does it work in console mode? What hash size are you using?

No, no and no.
I don't have any chance to use any hash size, clicking the .exe gives "doesn't work", in any GUI tried the .exe isn't accepted as UCI- engine. And it isn't the firewall, defined an exeption already.

Well obviously something is not compatible with your system - for now try the base version in the link above until I have time to do more research.

This one works well up to 16G hash.
Just one little disappointment yet still: the test position Alpha Zero- SF game Nr.5
[d]rn3r1k/pn1p1ppq/bpp4p/7P/4N1Q1/6P1/PP3PB1/R1B1R1K1 w - - 0 21
21.Bg5!
isn't found nearly as fast as in the trial you showed.

At 24 threads both versions, the one with and the one without Fortress Detection, find Bg5 sometimes after about 1 minute, sometimes they take some longer, sometimes some shorter, the one with FD seems to be the better one statistically as for this position at SMP.

Best try at single thread was BF FD with not quite 5 minutes.
What does option "Defensive" do?

Thanks again, Michael!

Any new popcnt- compiles already available maybe?
Tried 022220 Win modern at another PC with Win8 in the meantime, same problem, running not even in console.
