A couple of years ago I had a problem running Dirty under Arena. When playing in a tournament the engine restarted all the time and could not play its game. It took quite a while to discover the reason: its logo was in GIF format and that somehow confused Arena. As soon as I replaced the logo with a not GIF one all was well.
Now in one of my ongoing Arena tournaments I noticed that Hedgehog was losing all of its games which was odd. Upon inspection I saw that it also had a log in GIF format. Remembering the Dirty case I replaced the logo once again and, lo and behold, results returned to expectation.
I don't know why this happens but I recommend you not to use GIF pictures for decorating your engines under Arena.

I'm using PNG, and that works with Arena. Seems to be a safe option.
