I heard that too, but a "Fire 8 beta" played @ TCEC if I remember correctly

I was told directly by Norm that he was no longer developing Fire.

Ok, thanks. I thought so too, but wondered why a "new" beta played at TCEC.

I was also told by Norman he didn't have any plan of further developing Fire, but that was before the Fire 8 beta stuff.
