Good question. I am analyzing a couple hundred EPD positions right now that are candidates.
They are all early checkmates, in that at least one side has not castled and there are 25 chessmen or more on the board.
They are also mates between 11 and 22 (IIRC) but that could get changes with the analysis and more than half will simply be discarded immediately due to multiple solutions.

Maybe you will find material in my big databases from SWCR, FCP rating list or Wasp test-games.
A lot of such mate postions you will find here.

yes, because all the games from myself are without resign mode.
So games ended with mate and the chance to find good material is higher!
