Please make sure you have all the extra files, especially the data subfolder, or Gosu will play random moves. I know 'cos it happened to me.

Thanks for the hint ....

I already have the data subfolder but what other extra files do you mean ?

I didn't manage to install it under the Fritz 17 GUI as it didn't recognize it as a UCI chess engine ....

Is there a special procedure need to be done to get it work ?

Have you tried the old wb2uci converter to make it work under Fritz GUI?
You may need the book files/folder as well.

here is my wb2uci.eng file, which you need along with wb2uci.exe adapter:

Thanks again Carl as it works like a charm now....

It crashed the first time I loaded it as I gave it 2048 Mb hash table ....

Gosu can't handle more than 512 Mb unfortunately ....
