Hi Daniel,

thats good!
Better is if your website will be available again.

If you like I can added all the versions you made on my webpage (I believe I have all in my backup directory).
Andscacs have a great style, performaned strong in my still running FCP Tourney-2020 and have a very own playing style, no other program have. Really a nice and important work you do for us, for computer chess ... maybe more important all the helps you gave us so many years.

So, if you will give your permission I added the Andscacs collection on my site.
Again, better is if your site will be available again!

Regards to Andorra ...

Best
Frank

Hi Daniel,

looking in my BackUp directory.
I have 33 versions of Andscacs.

First version is: v0.64 from June 07th, 2014 (maybe it's not the first you made available for us).

But with your agreement and helps by others the collection will be complete with time.

Best
Frank

Well, most of them are still available. Just follow the the main info source for XB/UCI programs ;-)
https://rwbc-chess.de/

People often forget that the first thing to check after a site has vanished is the wonderful archive.org and how to use it.
https://web.archive.org/web/*/http://ww ... downloads/*
Edit:
talkchess cannot parse the last asterisk into the url so copy this one:

Code: Select all

https://web.archive.org/web/*/http://www.andscacs.com/downloads/*

Hi Guenther,

nice!
I added the information to my "link selection, download and TOP-engines sites".
Here I have a little menue system (working since days on it to make it stronger).
Longer time I made nothing on my older website.

Thank you, great work you do here!!!!! (normaly I gave not more as 2x! but in this case you get 5x!).

Have a nice week and good that you do that for us.

Best
Frank

PS: For a while an TalkChess member asked for AnMon versions.
In the past Christian BARRETEAU send me the versions. Later I gave my winboard site to Thomas Meyer and after this one Leo Dijksman got the site and from myself the downloads. So I added the AnMon versions I have again on my download selection.

Thanks for the info! I have added the link and some info for the rereleased previously private versions now.

Now I hope for some cooling here finally...three heat waves in four weeks are enough now.

Hi Guenther,

Have thanks again!

Hi Daniel,

OK, I will do that in the next 1-2 hours.

If an other user have versions, missed in my download file please send it to me.
Maybe holes in my collection will be fixed soon.
