And this forum should promote this kind of behaviour?!

Sorry. But this is IMO insane.

I do have the sources of chess system tal III.

Shall I now sell the program and promote it here in this forum ?!

How would the owners of the rights think about it ?

Ok. Let’s say I have the source code of the engine DOCH because don Dailey send it to me.

Shall I now sell a program named DOCH or KOMODO by don Dailey and post zillions of threads here how cool this engine is ?
What seems like a fairy tale today may be reality tomorrow.
Here we have a fairy tale of the day after tomorrow....

Fact is fat fritz2 as fat fritz 1 is an illegal copy of Stockfish promoted by chess base, a German Company from Hamburg. as a new product .

Its piracy.

A computer company sells an illegal product.

If I would be the programmers of Stockfish I Would law suit ChessBase until the company takes the product out of the market all over the World.
What is cryptic about you and Bedrey?
Chessbase sells something that is not their own property.
They did not Program it.
They did not even asked the authors of the source code to promote it.

This is illegal IMO.

And talkchess should IMO not promote illegal sales .

That’s computer piracy.

Since when did we founded this forum to promote computer chess Piracy ????
Have they been convicted for doing so? Or is it still just a bunch of law-enthousiasts shouting that they've been bad?
It is only illegal/pirating if a judge says so.

You can, connecting the two computers with cb Cloud.
Load the one engine from the first computer up into Cloud- window as a private engine, only to be used by your own account.
Then load it from the other one computer, logged in with same account, so it can be used like any other one engine in one and the same GUI but running on the second one computer's hardware.
As main engine, kiebitz or one of two in eng-eng-game.
