What's Stopping Stockfish from Having Larger Nets?
Can Stockfish increase the size of the neuron nets to 512, 1024, 2048 etc. If 256 neuron data size is 20mb why not max out the neurons used and let the user decide if they have to computer resources to handle more data? How much more data would be created per doubling of the neuron size? Seems like this would add more knowledge to chess evaluation that has been taking out to increase search depth.

Thats fine, under the assumption that you can pack more strength into the neurons than you lose by the increase computational time.
There is eventually a breaking point, unless you plan on solving chess in the NNs computation alone.
