Yes & NOT !

Theoretically ..... future editions. Basically ..... use the GPU for higher speed. Anyway, even on the CPU it plays nice!

Yes, that is what I read. Even if I have been only using the GPU version with FP16.
I just finished two tourneys against Halogen, one with the Precision set to INT8 and the other with the precision set to Float 32 I did NOT noticed any difference under Arena 3.5.1 and the score for both tourney of 10 games was identical. I did realized that no matter how much I set the hash to after ClassicAra 0.9.0 (Apr 7 2021) 373 MB. Why is the 373 MB always set to the same and it does NOT change :?:

In the game Kasparov versus Topalov Wijk aan Zee 1999, Kasparov made the amazing Rook Sacrifice and saw the winning line, here ClassicAra saw it immediately 24.Rxd4!. According to Kasparov he said that he saw the Rook hanging on h8 the moment he played 24.Rxd4!

Can any of our top testers give us an idea of when ratings will be available for ClassicAra, please?
Writing is the antidote to confusion.
It's not "how smart you are", it's "how are you smart".
Your brain doesn't work the way you want, so train it!

I can pretty much give an estimate, but the tester should wait to get version 0.9.2 post 1

It's able to beat Deep Shredder 13 with the black pieces with a TC of 30+5, not sure it can hang with the top NNUE or Leela engines just yet. In the game below Shredder had ponder enabled, while this version (gpu) does not ponder. On my RTX2070S it seems to average 10 kN/s with FP16.

I'm in the middle of a tournament, results are not particularly encouraging, I estimate around 2650 on CCRL blitz scale.
