It's an incredible derivative ...a true SF 14 optimization, not a mere clone and deserves regular and legal updates like CorChess, SugaR, Fat Tits and BrainLearn!

Blue Marlin 14.4a by dorsz and Stockfish Team 3700 ELO GPLv3 compliant

Is a new VERY STRONG Stockfish 14.1 derivative with aggressive style (last Stockfish 14.1 official compilation is very strong but VERY DRAWNISH and boring, too. SF-PB compilation from the same github GPLv3 source (supporting Polyglot books) by Chessman is much better!!! NOTE: All top 30 engines (excluding Dragon 2.5.1) of my SuperBlitz are Stockfish & SF derivative!

Thank you for the precision:

What is mean by conveying?
1a : to bear from one place to another especially : to move in a continuous stream or mass. b : to impart or communicate by statement, suggestion, gesture, or appearance struggling to convey his feelings. c : to transfer or deliver (something, such as property) to another especially by a sealed writing.

I'm native Italian and I don't understand exactly what it means. So if I download it from a public link and test privately, only inserting results in a crosstable is OK?

PS: Thank you for Arasanchess that I use since years, it is doing well on my SuperBlitz

I am not a lawyer but my reading of the GPL text (https://www.gnu.org/licenses/gpl-3.0.en.html) indicates to me that distributing the program is generally not allowed without also making source available. GPL uses "convey" in a way that they define, to mean "any kind of propagation that enables other parties to make or receive copies." So those who are making the program available to you are (likely, IMO) violating GPL.

The author Norman Schmidt took its search from Stockfish 9 dev and its evaluation from Stockfish 12 dev.

Arasan 23.1 is available from https://www.arasanchess.org.

Changes in Arasan 23.1:
1) Disable book when running the "bench" command. Ensure tablebases and NNUE are initialized before it runs.
2) Support SIMD on older Intel/AMD chips. Default builds now assume at least SSE2 is available.
3) Fix #34 - specify C++17 for clang.
4) Various fixes to selfplay utility
5) New network, based on reinforcement learning from 280m positions
6) Singular extension changes. Allow some pre-search pruning during a singular search.
7) Some code cleanup and refactoring.
8) Fixes and cleanup to Makefiles, VC++ projects and CMakeLists.txt.
9) Output error messages related to intialization to stdout not stderr, and use the appropriate prefix (e.g. "info" for UCI).

Test run against 23.0.1, 2:0+1 time control:
