MEA with UHO

Post by peter »

Asked for that already in Ed's forum once in a while

https://prodeo.actieforum.com/t989p25-s ... re-visited

and gave some examples of my trials of that kind now and then here, e.g.:

https://talkchess.com/forum3/viewtopic. ... 41#p941241

Regard the download- links to some other suites included in this one posting of link above.
Now I've added another one suite with about 250 UHO- positions from Stefan Pohl's fine collection

https://www.sp-cc.de/uho_2022.htm

out of the 6mvs- set, 200 after the 6 moves and now 50 more after already 5 moves of these lines, that's first new one collection of that kind of mine:

1111 seem to be a good compromise to me as for number of positions and a somewhat consistent level of "difficulty" for modern engines and hardware- time. I recommend 200 to 500msec for the 1111 for single thread up to SMP use and modern CPUs and GPUs.

My question was, if Ferdinand Mosca or anybody else would be interested in creating a set of one of the full UHO- collections for MEA the way Ferdy and Ed did with STS as described here

forum3/viewtopic.php?p=936756&sid=8a3ed ... 2d#p936756

Setting the evaluation- points for each single postion manually, as I did with all the suites I gave download- links to so far is getting too (hardware-) time- consuming for me on my own only, regards
Peter.
