CEGT 40/20: rating lists update (April 08th 2007)

Post by Werner »

Hi all :D,
after a few weeks holidays I am back again for posting our results and make some matches with new engines.

Our newest rating list 40/20 is now online. All links at the end of the posting as usual.

This week it was very exciting for us to see what happens with Loop 13.5 - as the start of this new engine last week was not so optimal. After 380 games more Loop 13.5 could improve his CEGT-ELO-Rating with 19 points and has now the same rating as Loop 12.32. Maybe both engines have an almost even playing strength. In our 40/120-list the engine is on place 6 after only 66 games. We will see in the next weeks whether the engine can improve its rating even more.

During the last 2 years we saw a lot of improvements of the top engines. But now it seems to be very quiet. What do the experts think about this?
