7th Amateur Championship Division 1

7TH CCRL AMATEUR CHAMPIONSHIP (Division 1)

Athlon XP2800+
Fritz 10 GUI
128mb hash each
3-4-5 piece tablebases
Ponder off
Perfect 13.ctg book
40 moves in 54 minutes repeating (adapted for the CCRL 40/40)
2 cycles (30 rounds)
Updated versions will not be introduced during the tournament.
The bottom three engines are likely to be relegated into Division 2 for the following season.

I guess that Bright 0.3a is still a "private" engine. At least I can't find a website to download it. Does anyone know when it will be released?

Based on the link there is only bright0.3a 4 cpu and the competition is for one cpu engines.

It is not known if the changes in bright0.3a relative to bright0.2c are improvement in the engine or improvement in using more than one cpu.

Hi Uri, the eval and search were improved in 0.3a, the MP-code was left untouched. See also this blitz list:
