But Rybka 4 still doesn't exist. Maybe it is just a hack of one of the intermediate versions like Rybka 3i097 or whichever version "they" got. From different tests it has been shown to be from way better to a tad better from Rybka 3 so it is obviously something different from Rybka 3 decompiled or reversed.

... and now RobboLito against Deep Rybka 3.

Game in 60 moves/ 30 minutes repeating
RobboliTo One Thread
Deep Rybka Eight Threads
Hiarcs12 GUI

2009-12RobboLito(2) 2009

1234567890
1 Rybka 3 01½½½11½½1 6.5/10
2 RobboLito 0.085e4 x64 10½½½00½½0 3.5/10

In my opinion, this is an impressive performance for Robbolito. I assume this result is consistent with previous tests.

300 Games: 4+0 With Ponder On

Test Condition:
The test was conducted using Fritz 11 GUI on Windows 7 64-bit. The hardware is an AMD Phenom II 940 overclocked to 3.6 GHz.

Both engines used the same book renamed to bookone.ctg (Rybka 3) and booktwo.ctg (Robbolito 0.085e4). The book has no marked/priority moves. The book settings are 2/12 with learning mode disabled. The variety of play was set at approximately 71.4% which is 20/28 right arrow key.

The engines were 1 CPU 64 bit versions with hash size set to 256 MB and pondering/permanent brain was enabled. Rybka used contempt setting of 15 (default). Time control is 4 minutes with no increment.
In total, there are 500 games. The test that was done in October may not be quite accurate or valid. The first 200 of these games* were tested with both engines using ponder, but the version of RobboLito used did not have the actual ponder code implemented at the time which gave Rybka an advantage.

Results:

Please describe the issue with the link, so it can be corrected. For IE users, open the link in a new window. Firefox should just work fine. If this fails, download a free ftp client such as filezilla.
