Houdini beats Rybka4 with 57 – 43 %

Stunning results sofar in my private engine matches for Houdini 1.01 32 bit, against Deep Rybka 4 32 bit. Houdini sofar beats Rybka at blitz and at LTC, with 57 – 43 % !! And thats approx a 56 ELO difference

I get similar results. You might check for losses on time in the PGN if the time control is very fast (e.g. 4+2"). All of these engines suffer from it, but Rybka 4 suffers the worst.

Deep Rybka4 SSE42 x64 vs. Houdini x64 POPCNT_4CPU
Quad i7-920 4.0 GHz
GUI: Aquarium 4.05
Narrowbook, each opening played twice TC 1/0

550 games, 250.5-299.5 (-31 elo)

I used default engine settings and did not see many time losses. Houdini seemed to outplay Rybka.
I will research some special settings and retest.

it is best to use at least a 2 second increment in time controls esp when using rybka 4 - -I think it has time control issues .. My tc 0+3s works well in keeping Rybka 4 competitive with no tc issues.
