Condratulations although this time control is totally irrelevant to me as a chess player and as a tester....

Perhaps so, but it is the most relevant one for anyone who uses engines for analysis.

What is the official link for that list?
After his son's birth they've asked him:
"Is it a boy or girl?"
YES! He replied.....

I guess this is a missunderstanding, because your header says 40/2 which
practically means 40/2min in the tester world, instead of 40/120 or 40/2h,
which seems what you wanted to say and which is the original CEGT header
too.

If you say 40/2 to any tournament chessplayer he will assume you mean two hours, not two minutes. None of the major testing organizations tests as fast a 40/2 minutes; the only 40/2 testing they do is two hours. So I think the caption is accurate, though I imagine you are not the only one who misunderstood.

There is also the results against Houdini 2 where one of our testers played 40/90 minutes and Komodo finished slightly ahead after 56 games. Not a very convincing sample, but it would take too much patience to play several thousand games at that level on a quad to see if this result was a fluke.

Well, I did not missunderstand you but the previous poster... and even while
I am a tournament player I disagree about the meaning in computerchess.
(The PGN standard even wants the sum in seconds)

I thought the previous poster got it right and just doesn't care about anything except blitz chess. Perhaps I am wrong; only he can clarify this.
