60 games Deep Junior 13.3 vs. Houdini 2.0c Pro at 150m+30s

Post by TimoK »

Hi all,

I was asked by some Junior-Fans to set up another test with different conditions. They think that Junior was suffering from the opening positions I used for my first test:
http://www.team-oh.de/Computerschach/dj13.htm

So new conditions are:
- TC is 150min + 30sec
- Ponder = On
- Engines use 6 cores
- 4GB Hash
- 5men Tablebases on SSD
- Junior uses his own book by GM Alon Greenfeld (Junior13.ctg), opponents get an up-to-date standard book
- Booklearning = On for each match, after a match the values will be cleared
- Hardware: Dual Xeon 5660 @ 3.06GHz, 12 GB RAM

If Junior will score better than in the first match then another match will be played against a different opponent. If it scores nearly the same (25%) then there won't be further Junior test matches of these kind in the near future.

You can watch the live transmission here: http://www.team-oh.de/livegames1/
You can download the games here: http://www.team-oh.de/livegames1/games.pgn

Best regards
