in search.cpp one reads
// Stop the search if most of the available time has been used. We
// probably don't have enough time to search the first move at the
// next iteration anyway.
if (Time::now() - SearchTime > (TimeMgr.available_time() * 62) / 100)
stop = true;
So basically, the 2 games I've won against SF were not true wins and I won because it ran out of time (unfairly, since I would have lost on time much sooner than it!).
I have yet to draw against SF at full strength; win is for now out of reach for me.
It's better to do it my way:
I play the chess engines at full strength with time control 90 minutes +30 seconds increment while giving myself infinite time for thinking and the possibility to delay the game if I'm tired,got to go to sleep,etc.
And that's the only advantage I use against these silicon monsters....
Try it and you'll love it regards,

Another kind of positions where should be Stockfish evaluation improved. When rook ending occured (deadly drawish, Stockfish´s evaluation was -1.71 for a long time).

I am not 100% sure this is a straightforward draw, most probably it is, but on move 42. Stockfish should have played Rd6, followed by transferring the king to a6, then c7-c6 and b6-b5. Possibly still a draw, but this was the way to proceed. Of course, you missed your chances too.

no, my way: The engine is set to engine v human - it plays blitz - I play when I'm ready.
A modification of my method

When I checked the game accurate continuation was 22.gxf6! Anyway, Stockfish sometimes misses these kind of moves. I have to mention that it was played on my smartphone, not on desktop. 17.a3!! is absolutly out of engines position dynamics understanding Such beautiful moves can be played only by human beings
