Thank you Martin, I guess this should be reported to the SF's team.Martin Thoresen wrote: Actually, SF has the same behavior in Round 1 and Round 3 of Stage 3 as well.
I noticed it clearly in the first game (I remember watching live) - check out SF's 34th move in that game here. If you check all the other SF games this Season, you will not find this behavior. So it is something the SF team has changed in the code since after Stage 2 started.
It seems to be only cosmetic though, so no big deal. But the point is that it seems to not send the final update to the GUI before making the move.

Re: TCEC Season 7 - Main Thread
Thank you for this! This was one of my favorite things about this stage, that the engines choose their moves from the very start. It was fascinating to see the various eras of chess theory that were rediscovered. The only thing that could have made it better would have been a double round robin. Maybe this could happen in a future edition of TCEC if a section ends up with only ten players.

Would be nice if more than one game at a time is shown and played. So you can switch from one game to the next. For instance csvn tournament shows five games in parallel.

Re: TCEC Season 7 - Main Thread
I have a problem with the viewer: if I view a game's PGN and then try to copy/paste it into another program in Windows, the line endings are messed up (Event/Site/Date etc. are not on separate lines).

Is this a problem going from Linux to Windows Jon? Under Windows everything seems to work as it should here.
