When you start an engine from the command line then how do set the hash table size and number of threads of an UCI (say Stockfish) engine? And likewise for a WB engine?

TIA.
Clik in tab "engines", and "manage".
It has tab for uci and winboard,
Common options that never cared for engines.

Be careful with Arasan and Arena. Arena sets the command line to be "-H 32768" by default and this overrides the hash setting in the UI. Best to remove the command line setting.

There is some delay due to getting the live support to work properly. The purpose that all 1080 games can be watched live with TLCV or LIVIUS. More info will follow soon.

There is only one (little) problem that needs to be solved. How to assign a polyglot opening book to an engine in Arena. Can this be done?

Problem is the programmer of TLCV forgot to add Arena *ABK support and engines running under Arena books cause scrambled boards during live support. Hence the delay.

Are Polyglot books a possible solution?

Have you tried running the engine under Polyglot with a book selected? Should work I think (Set the Book and BookFile options in the ini file - see https://sites.google.com/site/chess2u/Polyglot-ini-file).
