Halfway point of the tournament reached.

What was a tight tournament after the 25% mark, turned into a big lead for SF7 early on as K 9.2 took out K 9.3 in a 246 move affair!

Just when it seemd like SF7 might be running away with the tournament, Houdini scored a surprise KO just 2 moves out of book exit giving SF7 its 2nd loss of the tournament. SF7 clearly overlooked something with its piece sacrifice. This opening is the only 10 result of the tournament so far, but Stockfish won the previous game in that was even well into the middlegame.

Surprisingly Stockfish 291115 YBW KP finishes in 1st place with K9.3 2nd and SF 7 Beta 2 third.

Thanks for the excellent tournament Dan .......... the new stockfish is very strong ....... can you please run a mini tournament between K9.3 and SF dev .......

I'm replaying 3 openings as they were questionable when I put them in and the 10 results sort of proved that. So it's not quite over yet. ;)

Stockfish 7 Gauntlet next to allow it to catch up in games to Komodo 9.3 so I will have an accurate 1st rating list.
