Gambit Festival started

The Gambit Festival is a computer-computer tournament starting from critical opening positions we used to call gambits. The engines in the main pool (listed below) will be presented 20 carefully selected opening positions by Jeroen Noomen where the board already is set into fire. Thus in total 7 x 40 x 4 = 1120 games (280 games each) will be played.

Interesting opening set.

I have recently been looking at this line:

1. e4 c5 2. Nf3 Nc6 3. d4 cxd4 4. Nxd4 e5 5. Nb5 a6 6. Nd6+ Bxd6 7. Qxd6 Qf6 8. Qd1 Qg6 9. Nc3 d5

I don't know if you'd call this a gambit.

One main line is:

1. e4 c5 2. Nf3 Nc6 3. d4 cxd4 4. Nxd4 e5 5. Nb5 a6 6. Nd6+ Bxd6 7. Qxd6 Qf6 8. Qd1 Qg6 9. Nc3 d5 10. Nxd5 Qxe4+ 11. Be3 Nd4 12. Nc7+ Ke7 13. Rc1

with a crazy position. Also interesting is 11. Be2 which is in effect a pawn sacrifice.

I had to make a drastic decision and stop the tournament. Someone keen noticed illegal moves in the PGN with Rodin 7 times resulting in faulty results. I never seen this before and I don't know if Rodin is fooling Arena or vice versa but what I want is that the tournament continues without delay.

Therefore I will restart the tournament from scratch and replace Rodin with ProDeo.

I expect WaDuutttie claimed a draw by repetition by sending "1/2-1/2 {Draw by repetition}" to the GUI after 26...Rdd8 and assumes the game is over. So the question is: why does the GUI ignore the claim ?

After 26...Rdd8 the game is indeed a draw, why Arena accepts 27.Nh4 (Phalanx indeed plays that) is a mystery to me. After the tournament I will correct the score into a draw and post the final result.
