Stockfish 170820 vs Komodo 11.2.2

Post by beram » Sun Aug 27, 2017 6:16 pm

On may 7th, I played a match with own testsuite 25lines, between than Komodo 10.4 and pedantfishW 170426 on my AMD Ryzen at TC 15m10s 14threads. The match ended in a drawrecord of 45draws out of 50 and a +4 -1 win for pedantfish. http://www.talkchess.com/forum/viewtopi ... 55&t=63905
I have done a rematch now at LTC 15m10s with 14threads between Stockfish 172008 ultimaq compile and Komodo 11.2.2 (ct=0)
Match now ended in a +6-2 =42 for Stockfish
(Games link https://we.tl/Jb5dGP9RM4)

I give the 14 games of the 7 decisive positions with some comments

Re: Stockfish 170820 vs Komodo 11.2.2

Post by beram » Sun Aug 27, 2017 6:29 pm

The nicest win. Stockfish sets up the game with a pawn front h4-g4-f4-e4 and a naked king on g2 going for an all or nothing attack and is able to finish it up winning with two beautiful looking moves 41 Rg6! and 43 c5!
