No offence intended, but all these Matches seem kind of pointless now, with the advent of the MIGHTY Alpha-Zero.
Its like watching a dog-fight, when there is a Huge, Powerful Lion around !

Well, some still see the point, so they can keep coming on my account, at least. Games too, although I'd change to complete PGNs (missed the first one here, for example).

I don't think there is a lion anymore anyway. Unless they somehow can store the state of a network? I have no idea about that. it. But they probably needed the network itself and won't use for chess, unless you're going to pay them? Think Deep Blue. Deep Blue got dismantled right after the match, so nobody could and would ever beat it. It's history

An open source is not yet available will not be trained so quickly because you don't have the computerpower Google has

Intresting thoughts, even I cannot have the same oppinion.
AlphaZero games are scary to me, its just and example how far " artificial intelligence" is already developed.
Engine chess is still quite intresting to me, and the fact that the fights on top 3 are more ballanced makes it also more intresting .

That is true. That is the only thing that makes it interesting.
But if Google were to suddenly give you AlphaZero for Testing against those now obsolete engines, you would quickly become BORED !
It wouldn't be FIGHTS, it would be just plain SLAUGHTER !
It would be like watching a fight between a small puppy and a Lion !
Not fighting, just SLAUGHTER ! Very boring ! :)
On a serious note, even if Google does not start selling AlphaZero, computer chess as it is at present, suddenly became very boring for me.
Just KNOWING of the existence of a powerful Entity like AlphaZero even if not commonly available, which makes the strongest modern chess engines look like babies playing chess, makes me lose interest in these engines.

I have my doubt in that.
The Alpha Zero match was just a taste and needs better conditions to proove more.
Nowadays engines, especially the top 3, are no crash test dummies.

Of course, Crash Test Dummy is Crash Test Dummy: https://chessprogramming.wikispaces.com/Crashtest+Dummy
