I see different testings done by different websites, some use GTX 980, or GTX 1050, other use RTX 2080 Ti for short matches, but has anybody figured out for example a GPU GTX 1050 is comparable to a CPU XXX in term of one or the other NOT having a disadvantage. TOM tried to put some comparison but I am NOT convinced what it would be for Chess testing purposes different then Gaming.
PS: Computer with RTX 2070 Ti GPU are coming down in prices, affordable at Walmart for less than $1000.00 https://www.walmart.com/ip/2070-NVIDIA- ... 0EQAvD_BwE
