And the audience will notice that 30.Nxe6 seems losing so I'll have to find something else.

Just so Harvey doesn't need to keep checking this game, I announce that I don't intend to make another move until next year

Hopefully you will find the best move of the new decade to draw the match

This position honestly looks crushing if I judge it with my eyes.

I still have one year left considering the decade starts in 2021

I believe that because there was no year 0, but with most people thinking I'll lose this game I've gotten used to side with the minority! 🤪

My test games after 30. Rc1 ended all 0-1, but after 30. Bd2 there one draw. Doesn't prove anything without 64 cores Ryzen however :) ..

The position clearly got worse for white:
Some scores of stockfish at depth 35 after 1.g4 d5

1)2.c4 -0.89/35
2)2.g5 -1.03/35
3)2.e3 -1.04/35
4)2.h3 -1.06/35
5)2.Bg2 -1.23/35
6)2.e4 -1.26/35
7)2.d4 -1.44/35
8)2.Bh3 -1.46/35
9)2.d3 -1.59/35
10)2.Nc3 -1.64/35
11)2.Nf3 -1.65/35
12)2.c3 -1.71/35
13)2.a3 -1.79/35
14)2.Na3 -1.90/35
15)2.h4 -2.14/35

I wonder how many of them white analyzed before choosing 2.g5

The question is, do you see a white blunder in all of them? Is there a single one where black steadily makes progress until the game is won? Or is white making a bad move that makes the eval jump to the rock bottom? And what would happen if white made some other move in that position, would it hold longer? How long can white last if it doesn't make any blunder? Can it last until the game is drawn?
