I realize that you are still new to this site but that is the dumbest question that I have ever heard. A programmer created Rybka. He applied some logic that no one else had used in that way and it made his program very strong. By the same token another programmer may and most likely will come up with another piece of logic that will beat Rybka and the debeloping race will just go on. That is how the world works.

It is not even necessary that "another programmer" is involved.

At the very least, the question could have been asked about the Rybka 1.0 beta, and just the later versions of Rybka show that it is indeed possible to write an even better engine.

So I guess the question was meant to be "will it be possible by a programmer other than Vasik to write an engine better than Rybka".

And just because it hasn't happened yet is no reason to believe that it is impossible.

Is it possible to ask such ill-defined questions, to add so much noise to the forum?

Some people call this "cultural diversity"
I think you're just another troll (already well known in the Rybka Forum)...

But a successful troll, if I judge from the number of answers!

Most of his posts have led to some robust discussion between programmers regarding programming ideas and techniques.
I'm happy with what I've seen so far, but will monitor what is going on.

Regards, Graham.
