I am looking for a engine with a Good Calibratation

Post by ChessProg »

HI, I think that engines can play better and better, and that's good, but I think a good progress with the engines is to be to calibrate it, I mean a engine that sometimes do bad moves, but a GOOD bad moves, I mean not to left pieces that can be taken for free, but it can make a a bad move that may make posible an attack to the king, and even more, it can look for a GOOD bad move, in a couch mode.
What engines do you advise to me that have good CALIBRATION?
I would appreciate any help, thank you.

B=BISHOP >>>>> the B has 2 and 3 points to the left and right.
So you just need an six bits of elements of array of BITBOARD.

apparently phalanx has an "easy level" setting. For other engines, you may want to change the max depth setting to make them play weaker.

You can set the level of play in Beowulf from 1 to 10.
