I also noticed Binomial[] was never increased from 6 to 7, but perhaps the old size was actually supposed to be 4 and the new should be 5, since the kings don't count?

Is anyone clear if fritz 16 and chess base 14 support the syzygy tables of 7 men?

Fritz 16 came out last November, at which point not a single 7-man table had been calculated. So it does almost certainly not support it. Chessbase 14 in 2016.

First set of disks installed—in a few weeks, tablebase.sesse.net (and by extension, the main analysis of analysis.sesse.net) will have the full 7-man set. But it will take a while.

If You use SF dev version in Fritz 16 7-men syzygy is used of course! GUI is totally different if this was asked.
