I am using Wchessuci.exe in a DOS command prompt and have noticed that the number of characters that I can enter (e.g. "position startpos e2e4 e7e5 ...") is limited to 250 characters. When I run other engines from the same command prompt, there is no such limitation.

Any idea how this can be fixed?
