Yes Tony,even when considering that,and you know why....The new beta may score lower against one or two opponents,but will score more against most of the other ones....
The new changes of the code maybe counter productive regarding some engines,but the overall performance will rise....

Well that is why us authors need testers. To see if the ball we just smacked drops into right center field for a base hit or if we have just hit into a double play. So far this one is looking like inning over! Maybe the player at first will drop the ball!

Very true, at the same time a few weaker engines can kick Francesca's ass really bad as well. I played another match, Romi won against Arasan with a convincing 55% score, tho not as spectacular as that of the previous version.
