Having 64 or 128 CPUs is no guarantee for success (ask Zappa with 512 CPUs). Suj finished second last in the last freesyle and perhaps won the prelims with a different nick because he had the element of surprise and the competiion didn't realise he was engine only.

Kasparov said that a human GM with a weak computer to blunder-check could fair well over pure-engine users.

On the subject of Suj/Mission Control is it true that he played in the final with 2 nicks? Why does he have www.chessbase.com as his homepage under his Suj nickname where he also thanks Richard Stiles?
