New GUI11 update

has anybody got information about this new update of fritz 11?

I would avoid the update. Unless you've got some major issues, that is. If things are working fine for you, skip the update. The updated did nothing but cause me headaches.

I still would like F11 to work in "Explain all moves" mode.

i can hardly think that chessbase releases an update to make any damage ....... Comments welcome

Erik: u are right in eveything u suggested me; i also had headaches with the update and had to reinstall f 11......
we should wait an explanation from Chessbase????

The update is not official, AFAIK.
The server does not offer an update.

Chessbase support also provided the link to me.

When I installed the update, all of a sudden all of my Fruit engines didn't load, and neither did my Zappa Mexico engine. Everything locked up when I tried to use those engines.

I had to uninstall the update and Fritz 11 and do a complete re-install.

What a hassle!

I never install updates unless they are published in Chessbase magazin and/or recommended by the server, based on experience.
