Check the placement of the White King and Queen in Rogozenko's photo. Sorry I'd post in the general discussions forum but I can't seem to find it, so I posted here.

It's just a new chess variant...
Re: Rogozenko Picture
Believe it or not, a lot of people does that. I was playing against one of my friends about a month ago. Regardless of how hard I argued he said that the king and queen placements arent parallel. Finally I said OK, and won all 4 games.

Great, but then you didn't beat him at chess.Tony Thomas wrote:Finally I said OK, and won all 4 games.

Shuffle Chess.Tony Thomas wrote:It is true that I didnt beat him in classical chess. FRC??Ovyron wrote:Great, but then you didn't beat him at chess.Tony Thomas wrote:Finally I said OK, and won all 4 games.
Not FRC since your friend presumably wouldn't have known about the castling rules in frc then.
I think Shuffle Chess is more interesting than FRC in computer chess, fair and square, since most of the engines play shuffle just fine and there is no need for newer code implementation for castling rules. I think you would enjoy watching engines play each other in shuffle
I don't know why it is not popular or why it is not even getting a least bit of attention amongst testers.
