Twisted Logic beta(1 core) vs Deep Fritz 11(4 cores)=(1-0)

Post by Edsel Apostol »

I just can't resist to post this. Maybe Twisted Logic just got lucky due to opening book but at least it made my day!

Twisted Logic is joining the CSS Online Masters being the lowest rated engine running on the slowest hardware on single core 32 bit! Round 1 is against Deep Fritz 11 running on a quad core.

Here's the game:

Well done, Edsel :)

I'd guess that the beta is really much improved, with hardware disadvantage, it could beat Deep Fritz. Some people say that Deep version doesn't scale well with the 4 cores, not sure if that's true. But even beating the single processor Fritz 11 is too good an achievement! so keep it up! 8-)

Now I know why Fritz is not joining any important tournaments. If it can lose to Twistedlogic, imagine how it will lose to Rybka,Naum etc.......
Congratulations Edsel.
It was a nice win, very impressive.
