It seems like people are starting up new threads unnecessarily. Aren't there already enough of such threads? Have your say.

yes im sick of this just like dogs chasing their own tails they are going nowhere. Not very good for the memory to repeat yourselves

I forgot this one:

What's the latest compiled version of Robo ?

Which is compared to the Sticky of the Mods a clear violation.

The Robos were practically advertised on CCC, and therefore I wrote the message against the hate campaign against Rybka.

Anyway, the whole campaigns changed the future of computerchess. The users will have online Rybka on the best hardware for their chess but the sold versions at least of R 4 will be - how I understood it - by force weaker, because of the less effective hardware plus the service with the online version with included always updates.

In real that is no news because for the Wch or serious tournaments we had since long combinations that nobody had at home with his bought prog version. For me never a problem because for my level of chess any weakened version of any top prog would have helped me, of course the Wch gives me that certain feeling for my own dreams. Yes, anonymously I am still planning a comeback for the title... [g]

If you have registered and still cannot vote then you probably do not have appropriate access rights.

And how do I get appropriate access rights?

it probably has something to do with you only being a member here for 2 months
but i dont know that for a fact
i have forwarded your question to the TCADMIN who will be able to answer this more concisely

I voted no. The Ippo/Robbo threads don't bother me at all. It takes all kinds. This is a forum and I am totally opposed to censorship.

If I get tired of it or think that enough has been said then I will not read them any more. As it is I already do not read most of the posters in these Ippolit threads weather they are pro or con as they never have anything useful to add. But, what cooks my duckbill platypus is people dictating to me that I must believe an engine is a clone on just their word with out an offering of proof. Then when I have an honest question or an observation that questions the validity of their dictatorial proclamation of cloning I am made out to be part of a gang of thieves.
