Interesting looking results so far...I would have voted no, but I can't vote yet.

Yes Graham, and a new one is the best answer

I voted yes, because I'm sick and tired of clone bickering drowning out good stuff. There's a new version of Junior out, yet there's nary a word about it in CCC. Apparently people these days are more interesting in putting each other down than talking about computer chess.

I am not allowed to open a new thread with that question:

What did VR say about Ippo? Where is it? I want to read it myself. The only thing I can find is "Vas confirmed the engine is a clone of Rybka, the moved threads are being cleaned but please" by someone called Vytron.

Then I remember he got emails by someone who decompiled Rybka. But did he say it must be the Ippo authors?

A serious question: Please tell me finally what VR said, and give me a link to it.

Did you try asking this question in the Rybka forum?
i would imagine you would get a reply rather quickly
logic would dicatate that if you are not getting an answer here then that might be a good place to ask it next

I registered and searched for posts by VR containing the keyword "Ippolit", "Robbo" or "Robo".

No matches. Not surprising because the name is banned there.

No posts by VR in the Ippo thread mentioned on the sticky message.

No Thread about that clone engines ín the Forum.

So please would someone be so kind to point me to VR's statement?
